Marlene Sandberg was one of these women that made things happen. While reading about waste associated with disposable nappies Marlene felt guilty about products she was using for her son Edward. She commenced a search for a safer nappy to use and was unsuccessful in her search.

On finding out more about waste associated with disposable nappies, Marlene realised the situation was becoming a major problem the world over.
