Valentine's Day Tips
Valentine's Day is the one day in the year it's almost compulsory
to be romantic. Here are some tips to help you make sure that
the day goes off without a hitch.
- Don't leave it till the last minute to prepare.
- If he helps with the housework then he is entitled to
be spoilt on Valentine's Day, it's no longer just for the
girls.
- If he/she is liable to forget Valentine's Day, tie a
red ribbon around the pets neck and tell him that it's there
to remind him Valentine's Day is coming.
- Make sure you are fully equipped. eg. candles, massage
oils, silk rose petals, romantic music, clean sheets.
- Set the scene and leave little love notes and treats
for your lover for the week leading up to Valentine's Day
(this also ensures your partner doesn't have a hope of forgetting).

Valentine's Day comes in many flavours
Flavour #1 Cupid's Pick
Purpose
To inspire new romance, or create an opportunity for romance.
Reason
You know you're attracted to them but you're nervous and have
never managed to find the right moment to ask for that date,
or to let your feelings be known. Well now you do, it’s
Valentine's Day.
Props
The first move to get your sentiments noticed requires finesse.
Try to avoid anything to intensely romantic at this stage,
a bunch of flowers, a card or soft toy would be appropriate.
Flavour #2 The Serious Move
Purpose
To take the relationship to the ‘next level’.
Reason
You've been seeing someone, dating for a while and now it's
time to do some sweeping off the feet and set yourself up
in the high romance stakes.
Props
To take your relationship to the next level requires knowing
your partner well and being able to judge what will tickle
their fancy in the romance department. An oldie but a goodie
is dinner in or out, silk rose petals, candles, romantic music
and a romantic gift. To get to know your partner in new, exploratory
ways a couples game can be a gentle starting point.
Flavour #3 Revitalising Romance
Purpose
To remember you are two people who love each other passionately.
Reason
To remind each other of the love you have in your relationship,
and to rekindle the spark of romance that can so easily be
dampened by day to day life, children, housework and jobs.
Props
To revitalise your romance you can't go past; time alone,
a bottle of whatever you both enjoy most, an awesome meal,
relaxing music and a sensual massage oil or body sauce.
Flavour #4 Sizzling Hot and
Sexy
Purpose
To make things sizzle between the sheets.
Reason
This is Valentine's Day to inspire passion and sensuality
in your love-life. Things have been a bit monotonous in the
bedroom and it's time to kick-start your passion and get things
heated up.
Props
To make the most of this type of V Day you might want to stock
up on some sexy accessories both to wear and to play with.
A game for couples can be a great way to begin to explore
new desires. If your tastes lend to the more playful there
are many new ways of introducing new kinds of sex-play into
the relationship.
